Rename a repository
PATCH/api/repos/{owner}/{repo}
renameRepository
Changes the repository's name (the `<name>` in `<owner>/<name>`). Storage is keyed by an immutable repository ID, so this is a metadata-only change — no data moves. Existing `<owner>/<old-name>` URLs and git/jj remotes stop resolving; update remotes to the new path. Requires repo admin access. Returns 409 if the new name is already taken in the owner's namespace.
Requires authentication using a bearer token or a session cookie — see tokens and scopes.
