Star a repository

PUT/api/repos/{owner}/{repo}/star

starRepository

Stars the repository for the authenticated user. Idempotent — starring an already-starred repo is a no-op. Any user who can view the repository can star it. Returns the updated star count.

Requires authentication using a bearer token or a session cookie — see tokens and scopes.
